Glowing Rooms – Good to know

All our equipment gets cleaned and sanitised after every use. We are not located in the city centre or where a lot of people gather.  There are strictly a limited amount of spots you can book, meaning our venue does not get overcrowded. Even during our busiest periods we only have 60 customers onsite at any time on a massive space of 800sqm all spread out. Saturday is our busiest day so if you are still concerned you can book your spot for a weekday where we are generally a lot quieter. Always book online to check availability.
BOOKINGS
We strongly recommend you book on our website before visiting us as bookings have priority over walk ins and wait times can be long for walk ins. We require full payment to secure a booking and cannot take bookings without payment if you are less than 15 people. Booking in advance means you won’t need to wait for long. Payment is made at the time of booking and is non-refundable. We understand that things happen sometimes, so we’re happy to reschedule your booking, and will do our best to accommodate you.
We can make special after-hours bookings for groups of more than 15 people. Please contact us at info@glowingrooms.com.au. A deposit is required that is non-refundable 7 days before event and the amount varies depending on the size of the group
Bookings are a live event and are non-refundable. Your booking reserves a number of spots in our booking calendar, stopping other customers from over-booking. However, We understand that unforeseen circumstances can occur and offer a credit for cancelled or rescheduled bookings which are valid for 1 year. To cancel or reschedule a booking, we need to be informed during trading hours, and a minimum of 6 hours before your booking. This is so we can open time slots and allow other customers to book the time slots you previously had reserved. A $10 admin fee is charged when checking in for each time the booking is rescheduled. If we do not receive the required notice of cancellation or wanting to reschedule, credits are forfeited.
GENERAL
We suggest you allow a bit over an hour for a game if you have a group of six.
You can wear any shoes you like
Each group consists of a maximum of 8 players. If you have for instance 10 to 14 people attending, please book in 11 people for 1 time slot (2.30 pm for instance) and the other people for the next time slot (2.45pm). Please all arrive at the time the 10 people are booked for (2.30pm in this example) and we will get all 14 people into the golf rooms just 5 mins apart
Some obstacles on the floor and drink holders on walls are hard to see for the little ones and they can easily trip over and hurt themselves therefore under 5 year olds are not permitted to play or walk around in the golf rooms. If they are restrained in a pram or carrier under 5 years olds can be brought into the golf rooms
Glowing Rooms is an amazing experience for the whole family and Adults actually enjoy it more than kids. If no one in the group is above the age 12, 1 Adult is allowed free of charge (per group of 8 children) and required to supervise the group. The main attraction is our Artwork so if Customers would like to see it, they will have to pay the normal admission fee.

3D Mini Golf is an amazing experience for the whole family and adults actually enjoy it more than kids! Glowing Rooms is a Licensed Venue and anyone under the age of 18 is required to have a responsible adult, as defined by the Liquor Act 1998, with them at all times. For a detailed description of a Responsible Adult, please see our below FAQ, “Who can be a Responsible Adult” Anyone under the age of 18 not accompanied by a responsible adult will be refused entry to the Venue. We do allow 1 responsible adult to go into the golf rooms per group of up to 8 kids free of charge. The main attraction is our Artwork in the Golf Rooms, so if any more than the 1 required supervisor would like to go in, they will have to pay the normal admission fee.

As per the Liquor Act 1998, we only accept the following forms of ID:

  • A current Australian driver's licence with a photograph.
  • A current passport.
  • WA Proof of Age Card

 

You must bring the original copy of the ID. A photo of your ID on your phone is NOT considered a valid form of ID.

Responsible adults must be at least 25 years old. As per the Liquor Act 1998, a person shall be taken to be a responsible adult if that person was an adult who is a parent, stepparent, spouse, de facto partner or legal guardian of the juvenile, or other person in loco parentis to the juvenile.

“In Loco parentis” means someone who is taking on the responsibilities of a parent, e.g., grandparents, teachers, sports coaches, or friends of the parents.

A responsible adult is NOT an 18-year-old partner, friend, or work colleague etc.

PARTIES AT GLOWING ROOMS
To ensure you have the best time, Glowing Rooms party packages must be booked in advance. We charge a $100 deposit and full payment when you arrive on the day. The deposit is non-refundable if you cancel 7 days before the event. 7 days before the event we ask you to confirm the final amount of people that will be attending and that is the total amount you will be charged because we are blocking out the period in our booking calendar so no one else can book in at that time. 12 People is the minimum. You can bring less but Payment for 12 People is required.
When you book a Glowing Rooms party package - room hire, food and clean up is included in the price. You get to spend an hour in the room and don't need to worry about anything. We are happy for you to bring special or additional food, but due to the nature of our commercial kitchen we can’t keep it cold or heat up. Of course, we will make space in the fridge for a special party cake. External food (including cakes) is not permitted in the venue if you have not booked the Party Package with a private function room. We do have a Café on-site and have Hot food and cake options, as well as Barista made Coffee available for purchase. Please see the cafe tab for our Menu.

ACCESSIBILITY

We don't accept Companion Cards. However, if the person in need is required to have a carer they can go into the golf rooms for free but is not allowed to play. If the carer wanted to play he/she is required to pay the standard admission fee. It is not possible to get help from carer for the Virtual Reality escape rooms, because only the person playing the game can see what is happening through the Virtual Reality headset

We’ve welcomed people with Autism to Glowing Rooms and they’ve had a great time. As everyone is different, it may not suitable for everyone. We encourage you to talk to us about the special needs of your guest and how we can make a visit to Glowing Rooms a fun and positive experience.
Yes, we have designed our course so people in wheelchairs can enjoy it as well. Please make sure to use our rear car park. It is easier to get in with the wheelchair
YES, surprisingly we’ve had a colour-blind visitor recently. He may not have been able to see the colours but he was able to see the 3D effect. He said they are awesome.
Glowing Rooms is a low light facility. You can see where you are walking so it’s not scary or too dark. We’ve made sure there is nothing in between the mini-golf lanes which could cause you to fall or trip. There are obstacles on the course which are delicate and could break if you stand on them which is why we ask you to stick to the walkways.
Of course, Glowing Rooms is designed for the whole family to enjoy. Because we are a low light facility, we advise everyone to watch their step as they move through the course especially if they have trouble seeing in low light.
SCHOOLS AND GROUPS
Mini golf is a brilliant activity for school or club excursions. The 3D effects are so captivating, kids love the experience even if they’re not particularly interested in mini-golf. We find once they get started, they love it. Mini golf can work as a team or confidence-building exercise for kids. While they’re having fun and being active, they’re developing or refining fundamental movement skills, they’re also building their cooperation and communication skills Some of our images are educational, and kids are encouraged to ask questions. As they move through the rooms, they will discover a solar system, star sign constellations, and many different kinds of fish and wildlife. The Australian rooms have iconic Australian animals and landmarks. A visit to the Glowing Room experience provides a great platform for kids to explore creativity and learning. We offer group discounts for groups of 15 or more and are happy to open our premises for group bookings outside our usual business hours by arrangement. Please call us to make a group booking. ONSITE FACILITIES

We are a licensed Venue! The Glowing Rooms House Management Policy is to provide friendly and professional service responsibly, which includes the sale and consumption of alcohol, while maintaining the safety and comfort of customers and staff. We serve delicious, fresh, barista-made coffee, from locally roasted beans. We have installed a top-quality commercial coffee machine in our onsite café, to ensure each cup is as good as the last. We also serve Gelato

So that you can enjoy your game without having to worry about your belongings, we have secure lockers on the premises. We charge a $5 refundable bond.
